Lora and Eddie

These two are twins…Are you surprised? They are heading off to college where I know they will be so successful. Lora will be at Western KY (mine, too!), and Eddie’s going to Tennessee Tech. I love that they are independent enough to go to different places, but I bet they will miss each other! 2020 has been such a weird year. Our kids are so resilient. I know they will go like nothing can stop them.

Colson’s Flowers

More flowers! I love this little farm in the heart of Murfreesboro, so when I did sunflower mini sessions, we had to go over to the Black Eyed Susan’s, too. I’ve known this mama for a long time. We went to school together way back when. I love when I get to see how her kids have grown. Sweet family!!!

Rylan

I don’t always get many chances to photograph babies because I market for teens, but I sure do love it!! Rylan’s grandmother is one of my dear friends, and I’m soo glad she asked me to take his 6 month pictures. What a sweet fella he is. The genes run strong in this one. there are certain expressions that look just like his cousins. Lucky mom and Nonna!

More Sunflowers!

This family comes to my mini sessions quite often. These kids remind me of my own. Sunny, quirky, and fun! You can tell they have a good time at home. I always laugh the whole way back at the things they said. They obviously can love each other and tease each other. Happiness!

Flowers

So the monsoon that was coming did not deter this little family. I don’t know how she did it, but this mom had four children who followed every direction and didn’t complain one bit…even when we had to take a break to sit in the car. The rain, though! It only said 20%! This little family is too sweet. Look how they are with each other. You can see it. Love! We originally came for the sunflowers, but these black eyed susans stole the show at Sinking Creek Farm.

Vintage Sunflowers

I got so happy when I saw Jessie and Josh because these outfits!! Vintage sunflowers pictures are awesome. I love taking pictures of these two. They are always so cute. Also Josh is so good to his sis! It is amazing. They come to a lot of my minis, and I look forward to it every time. They did not disappoint!

Haley’s Sunflowers

Meet Haley. She’s a senior at Lebanon High. This year sure is going to be weird, but this girl. She’s all smiles. She’s a hard worker who’s going to get through everything with her good attitude. We had a rainy night when we took these pictures at the sunflower farm, bur we jumped out during a break and shot these pictures. We were quick, and she did great. Love her!

JM’s Photo Shoot

Oh, my gosh. How cute is he? When his BB asked me to do his pictures, of course I was so excited! This little fellow had so much fun looking for cows and laughing at my brand of humor…which was saying things like, “poopy britches” and “sugar boogers”. I think I laughed just as much as he did! This little family farm was the perfect place. I’d do this again in a heartbeat.

The Pfalmer Family

Meet the Pfalmers. They are a sweet family of three with two dogs, Angel and Rusty. I was so happy when they wanted me to come do a porch session. Quick and no stress! They just stayed at home and I went to them. Nobody had to ride in a hot car or worry about wrinkles, except me. Haha. They moved to their home recently, and I’m glad they got pictures of their new space. Rose was extra talkative this time, which makes for a fun session. She has grown up and matured so much since we first started getting her pictures. It was easy peasy this time around. Scroll down to see, and I can do these as a mini session!

I always do MK’s spring pictures. Such a sweet girl, and this time, the whole family got in! Really everyone needs a family picture each year because things change! We found a dry creek bed that I am now obsessed with, and spread out a quilt. She did such a good job, and is so photogenic. We always have a good time. Now she’s on to middle school! Can’t believe it.

Lindsay and Hank’s Cancelled Prom

I love these two people so much! Now they are seniors, I guess! Boo hoo. Since prom was totally cancelled and Lindsey already had her dress, we decided to take advantage of that and go get pictures. I love the way they turned out. I know when I look back on these pictures later, they will make me sad because it’s the beginning of the end of high school for my guy! I’m glad we did this, so we have these memories. I can still do these as mini sessions all summer for those of you who need it!

Jordan’s Cap and Gown Session

Meet Jordan, class of 2020! Wow, it has been a difficult year for you grads. Jordan took advantage of my cap and gown mini sessions, which will be open for you all summer if you graduated this year. You deserve something special. We went out to the Mitchell House to do these, and it was perfect. Jordan is an avid gamer and an Eagle Scout. He also loves to draw, which I love because I live with an artist. :) He plans to go to Nossi College of Art in the fall. He is the oldest of three brothers and works at a restaurant. I know he’ll do great things! Good luck, Jordan!!

Sunflower Sessions

These are too fun!  I love my sunflower sessions.  Sinking Creek Farm in Murfreesboro has planted again this year!  You'll love this location, and it's another place that I can go to shoot.  I have decided to offer mini sessions again. Here are the details:

Total cost is $250, so your regular session fee is waved.  It's also a discount on the 15 digital images you will receive...  AND you get the option to purchase any other product/digitals for 10% off regular pricing. You will spend 20 minutes with me and the sunflowers (don’t worry, that’s plenty of time) The sunflowers should be blooming the first week of July, so we can schedule then, and possibly the second week, depending on interest. Can’t wait to see you! Email, text, or reply here on my website to book.

50th Anniversary Edition

Happy anniversary! This session was so special to this family because these two have been married for 50 years! A family of teachers, just like me. I was very impressed with how sweet the kids were and how everyone got along during the photo shoot. It was awesome. We went out to Cedars of Lebanon and took advantage of the barn that’s out there. The kids picked their favorite spots, and we just had a good time.

Brady’s Theater Headshots

This girl! Everything she touches is successful. Seriously! And she’s sweet, too. :) I love photographing her because she is so photogenic. She has grown up a lot since I’ve been taking her pictures. Now she’s in that in between stage. Not quite a little girl. I love this age because she has so much to look forward to! This session was meant to be a headshot session, but I couldn’t help taking all the poses. We went into downtown Lebanon to find these cool walls and alleyways. Some are being restored, but I think the old ones are beautiful. Take a look.

Nashville/Lebanon, TN Photographer | Front Porch Session

Front Porch Mini Session

This ended up too cute. I know we are not really in quarantine anymore, but some of us aren’t ready to venture too far from home. These porch sessions can be done as a mini session, so you’re right at home, it’s easy and pretty quick. Now the Hinesleys have beautiful pictures of their favorite place with their favorite people. It also will commemorate this time we have spent at home, and help you remember it with a positive spin. You could even show things that you have been doing, or make it super casual. I am very tempted to do one for myself with me and my Ukelele, Chuck and a hammer, the kids in their Dunkin’ Donuts uniforms and a PS4 controller, and coffee cups everywhere. I have tons of ideas. Let’s do it! Cost would be $250 for 10 digital files printable up to 8x10, and I’ll come to you, of course! :)

If You Missed Senior Pictures, Graduation, and Prom…

Class of 2020, and also juniors and seniors who missed prom, graduation, or senior pictures, I feel for you! I’m opening mini sessions only for you at a huge discount. I know it’s disappointing. We’re going to get through this together, so I was trying to figure out a way to help. Here’s what’s happening:

  1. Class of 2020—SENIOR PICTURES if you didn’t have time to do them

CAP AND GOWN PICTURES—whenever you pick those up

  2. Juniors and Seniors—PROM Pictures…Bring you, your date, your friends. Did you buy that dress already?

Dates are to be decided, depending on interest and when you can come. I will do my best to accommodate you with dates and times. This is the exciting part: Cost is $125, and includes 10 digital files printable to 8x10, with options to purchase more files and products (but no pressure). Y’all this is a savings of $200. I so want to give you this! Please email, text, call, whatever. I would love to talk to you. I want to hear your take on all that’s going on and encourage others to be hopeful. Let’s talk!

Cap and Gown Session

Y’all, this was soooo fun. I think last year Brizeida and I got together for senior sessions about three times. I love people who love pictures! We had the best time at each one, and each one was a little different. That what’s you want, to be different? Yes! We went to the high school and took pictures all around. As you can see she played softball, so that was a priority. I cannot express how important it is to put your own spin on your senior session. It’s a time when you will never be like this again, so load up all the things when you come. Bring what fits you. We will work it all in. Be creative, have fun. It’s not too late, and I can’t wait! These sessions will happen, just keep on keeping on. Be safe. Sending love.

Nashville, TN Photographer | Prom Sessions

When is your prom?

These mini sessions are super fun! I can meet you when you you get ready for prom and take your prom pictures. It doesn’t matter what school you’re from around here! They will last 20-30 minutes, and you’ll get 15-20 digital files with unlimited printing rights to 8x10. Grab your friends, your date, or come with just yourself. Cost is $250. Scroll to see some from the last couple of years.
