  I was so pumped to do this BFF session at the fair.  These girls have been friends for a while, and now they are thinking of college and all that goes with it.  Seniors: Class of 2019.  I'm so glad they let me follow them around the Wilson County Fair.  I had so much fun.  They like each other so much that they didn't even look at their phones the whole time.  So sweet.  :)  Well, scroll down to see who got to hold all their stuff: purses, phones, hair bands.  So funny.  I love, love, loved doing this session for them, and I know it's hard to leave good friends for a little while after high school.  Girls, keep in touch and brave the world together.  It's so important to have besties who build each other up.

Anna Kate's Senior Pictures

   Let me tell you how excited I was when Anna Kate said she had a VW bus.  SOOOO cute.  Best prop ever! We took some pictures at Sinking Creek Farm in Murfreesboro first, which was also awesome.  Anna Kate loves sunflowers.  Then we went to downtown Lebanon to the to the #letlovefly mural and all around for pictures with the bus. #vwbuslove!!! She is a senior at Friendship Christian School.

   I am so glad she chose me for her senior session. This girl is so brave and giving.  She is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.  Her mission is to help girls in Africa by providing hygiene kits and health education.  She has visited with her group, and met some of these girls who otherwise would have to miss school each month, when their school time is precious.  For more information on this ministry, click here. This project to empower women in our community has exceeded my expectations!  Iddy and Oscars (on the square in Lebanon) and I have teamed up to empower women in our community the best way we know how, through our businesses.  It may be a small thing, but when I met the women who participated I realized it all starts with a few people being kind, strong, ambitious, gentle, and positive.  Each woman has shared her story and love with us.  Follow along this week on instagram #theempoweringproject to see what beauty they have shown.

Chase

   Meet Chase.  Class of 2018.  Young and reckless.  That's how he describes himself.  Also he's confident, kind, definitely polite.  He's very athletic and he made me laugh during his senior session.  We went out to The Mitchell House on Castle Heights campus for the first part of his photo shoot. Then we headed to the a place he loves, the lake; his family's lake house.   Chase loves to wakeboard and be on the water.  He was homeschooled for his high school career because he was traveling so much for his moto cross competitions.  Before that, it was baseball and football.  I told you he is athletic and into everything. 

 During our session Chase said he really wasn't into taking pictures, but by the end he was asking for more (with his truck!).  Love it, I knew he would change his mind once we started.  He was raised right, super polite.  I have no sense of direction, and when I followed him to the lake house he made sure to put on his blinker.  I knew this was a good kid.  :)  Scroll down to see his senior pics!

Lebanon High School Senior | Annie

  You've seen Annie's pictures before, and hopefully you'll see them again!  She is part of my senior model team.  Annie was a senior at Lebanon High School, but she just graduated.  Yay, so exciting!  Cumberland University, look out!  She is an aspiring lawyer, loves her Jeep, her cat, and kayaking.  I love all those things, too...well, except the lawyer part.  I love to teach. :)

  Well, today is the last day to register for prizes...so ends my Senior Week.  It was awesome, and I'll let you know this week if you won.  Yay!

  While you're waiting, take a look at Kate, a sophomore at Wilson Central High School.  She's into all kinds of good things:  Yearbook, writing and designing, and BETA Club.  Of course she's smart!  :)  I'm so glad she became part of my model team this year.  She even brought her best friend with her, who was also super sweet.  While learning about Kate, I found out one important thing.  Something that trumps all of it:  She's kind and wants to spread it.  I love that!  She plans to become a veterinarian and she also loves photography, just like me!

   I've know Jade for many years, as she went through Coles Ferry, the school I where I teach.  She is such a sweet girl!  She offered to be one of my senior models this time, and I'm so glad.  Look how pretty!  Jade is into HOSA, the outdoors, and she's a lifeguard.  Also she is an avid clogger and wins all kinds of awards doing that.  Wonderful!  Take a look at her pictures we took at Cedars of Lebanon State Park.

Wilson Central High School | Ariel

   This is Ariel.  She is a sophomore at Wilson Central High School.  Love that she wanted to assist in my senior model program!  She is into all kinds of things at school: Beta Club, National Youth Leadership Council, and cheer tryouts (good luck!).  She is athletic and has been cheering competitively for a while now.  Ariel will pursue a career in marine animal rescue and rehab.  I can't wait to see where her journey takes her.  That sounds so exciting!  Don't leave until you see her fabulous pictures.

   Meet Hailey, a junior a Lebanon High School and one of my senior models for the week.  I have known her since she was so small, and now look how grown up and beautiful she is! When she said she would like to help me for my senior week promotion, I knew I had to choose her!  At school, she is into all sorts of things...HOSA, YIG, Colorguard (this one's close to my heart).  She's the wrestling manager and a lifeguard, too.  She loves dogs and mint green.  She was a natural in front of the camera.  Scroll to see more of her pictures.

  Jayda is a sophomore at Lebanon High School.  She loves dancing, swimming, and trying new things.  She's is a singer and is active in her church and Girl Scouts.  She is a positive person...and organized...and hardly ever late to things.  I think I need her in my life!  She's gorgeous, too.

Meet Bailey!  My freshman "senior model".  She did so great, and just wow!  Also I'm partial to redheads, since I have one of my own.  :)  It has been a long while since I've taken pictures of her, but I'm so glad she has come back.  At Watertown High School, Bailey is into Art, Science, and Reading.  Math...not so much (I'm with ya, sister).  She loves makeup, animals and social media, but not red tomato sauce!  Haha, love it.  A strong girl who knows herself.  She wants to be a dermatologist in the future, and you can catch her raising chicks for 4H.  Scroll down to see this beauty.  Her serious face is just awesome, as is her smile.  Thanks, Bailey!

   I love this girl!  This is Trinity's feature for Senior Week.  She has modeled for me two years in a row because I just couldn't resist.  I've known her for a while because we go to church together.  She is definitely a person who is strong enough to show her individuality, and I think she is awesome.  Cats are her favorite, and you'll see her at MTSU in the fall.
