Nashville TN Photographer | Limited Edition Spring Mini Sessions

It's time for Spring Mini Sessions.

Let’s give back to our community.

In light of the recent tornadoes in Lebanon, I was trying to figure out how I could use my business to give back. I was so awed to see and participate in all the volunteering going on. I am so proud of our community, and also saddened at all the destruction. I know people will be rebuilding and healing for a long time. When I saw the volunteers posting about family pictures being found amongst the debris, it gave me an idea. Of all the tangible things that were lost, family pictures are the closest to my heart. If I had to grab anything at the last second, it would be as many photo albums/hard drives/pictures I could get my hands on! If you book one of these sessions with me on April 11th, let’s talk about who you know that needs a family picture right now, or maybe someone who now can’t afford senior pictures/milestone pictures/engagements. I’d love to give one to somebody who needs to make these memories.

Here is the information for the sessions…there definitely will be a bunny.

*For $199, 20 minutes or so with me and my camera and 10 digital files at Cedars of Lebanon State Park. (There will also be more add-on packages to choose from).

*$50 nonrefundable retainer holds your spot.

Treva & Eric

Treva and Eric got married last night at the Mill. Since we just did their engagement session, those are what you’re going to see first! Here’s my favorites from that day. We went out to Cedars Of Lebanon state Park. She’s a country girl, he’s a city boy, but they both rocked it. The signature sunglasses are a nice touch, Eric! I’ve loved getting to know both of them. They have been together for 11 years, and have gone through thick and thin. The love wins out. I can see it and feel it when I am with them. I know they are going to last forever.

Sweet Siblings at the Fair

Look at these colors. These three are so cute. Little sis will smile…sometimes. Haha. They did great, and I’m so glad they came out. The Wilson County Fair is always a fun place to be. See you next year!

Meet Devin, a senior at Lebanon High School. This one has a special place in my heart because I taught her in the first grade. Her little face looks exactly the same. :) I can’t believe she is this old. I can’t wait to see what her future holds. We asked Devin what advice she would give to her younger self to empower her, and she said, “I would tell my younger self to always be confident. Get out and enjoy high school. Don’t care what anyone else thinks. Join thing, get involved, dress up for the pep rallies!”

Devin also said that the woman in her life who empowered her the most is Joy Pine! Our sweet friend from Iddy and Oscar’s. I would totally agree, Devin. Also her friend, Meghan. Here’s what she had to say, “I think the first female that has inspired me was Joy Enzfelder. When I was younger my mother and I would talk about Joy's journey thru her mission work and Miracle Power. She inspired me at that point in my life to see the world in a different view and I knew that I wanted to be able to make a difference in some way, somehow. I ended up collecting change for a change and Joy was able to purchase a goat at Miracle Power. Today, I still hope that this had a great impact in some child’s life. Without Joy being an inspiration, I'm not quite sure that I would have some of the aspirations that I do. That brings me to Meghan, the woman who as of today probably has made the biggest impact of my life. I met Meghan through my mom when they worked in the hospital together. From the first day I met Meghan she caught my attention with her kindness toward others, the way she views things in a positive ways, her love for the Lord, the medical mission work she does, her fearless heart, courage and ambition to fulfill a dream to work at St. Judes to work with children. I can totally see myself walking in her shoes and she is someone that I inspire to be like.” Devin will be great at anything she chooses to do. Let her give you some kind words when you see her at school.

Meet Allison! She is one of the most free, confident girls I know. We asked her what she would say to her younger self to empower her, and she said, “I would tell her to wear anything she wants, go to anything she wants, don’t care what anyone else thinks. Make all the noise, sing all the songs, dance in public because life is too short!! The inner you is just as good as the outer you. Shine! Show everyone else how good you are.” I need this advice. All the people need this advice. Way to go, Allison. I love it!

We also asked Allison who has empowered her over her lifetime. This is what she said, “I love this, as a strong believer in women empowerment myself! My grandmother! She taught me not to care what anyone thinks about me, how to always take advantage of any dress up opportunity, my manners, how to make a cheesecake, never go anywhere empty handed, how to charm and make people laugh. she taught me it’s always okay to be the only one dancing or singing as long are you are having fun. She is the one that has made me the hippie child i am today. She has incredible strength and charisma to show me to take on the world one step at a time. I would love to be able to show young girls how to show the world that they are here to make a difference! Every girl has a fire inside them that needs to kindled to glow! I want show every girl she is beautifully made inside and out! I love to work with young girls to empower them and break them out of their shells and let them know it’s okay to be their true self.” Wow! That is all I have to say about that. If you see Allison in the halls at Oakland High School, she’ll give you a smile and some encouraging words. So proud of this girl for letting her light shine.

Emily | Class of 2019 | Lebanon High School

When Emily contacted me to take her senior pictures, it was bittersweet because she is the same age as my daughter. I can’t believe it’s already time. This class of 2019 has a special place with me. It is so weird to see this girl and the rest of these seniors as adults, but that’s what they are! I know Emily will be successful in whatever she does, which will be taking care of animals. We went over to her farm and found some really great spots for her pictures. The truck was the highlight! If you don’t know about Circle S Farms here in Lebanon, you need to check them out. You can get all kinds of fruit, and even get married there! It’s awesome. Click HERE for info.

Angelica’s Sunflowers

Meet Angelica, class of 2020. She contacted me about being one of my senior models (those pics are coming soon!), and she wanted to do these pictures in the sunflower field. Gorgeous! It was so hot this day, but she carried on, even doing some gymnastics in the flower rows. This is an amazing place for a session located in Murfreesboro. If you’re interested in doing a mini session this week (7/14), click HERE for more information. I can’t wait to show you more of Angelica during senior week in a couple of weeks! Nashville TN Photographer | Fiddler's Grove Wedding

Madison + Justin

Congratulations, Madison and Justin! This little wedding was just perfect. Beautiful bride, beautiful day..it rained a little, but that’s good luck, right? Madison and Justin tied the knot in Fiddler’s Grove in the rustic Melrose Church. It was packed with friends and family, who were all ready to see these two start their lives together. Scroll to see the details of this sweet wedding.

Brizeida / Class of 2019 / Lebanon High School

This girl graduated! I’ve known Brizeida for a long time, so it’s bittersweet. I know she’ll be successful in college, and can’t wait to see what her future holds. She’s silly and fun, but also smart and confident. This session was one of my cap and gown minis at the Mitchell House here in Lebanon. Scroll to see what a beauty she is!

Nashville Photographer | Castle Heights Lebanon, TN

Graduate

Meet Jade. Class of 2019. So excited for her! I can’t believe it’s time already. This sweet girl had her cap and gown pictures done at The Mitchell House on Castle Heights campus during my cap and gown minis. We always have a great time. I’m glad she came, and I can’t say enough how important it is to get these pictures done at a time when it’s not so crazy! Graduation day is exciting and hectic, and sometimes it’s even hard to find your grad! She’s planning on getting her degree to be an investigative crime scene superhero (I’m sure that’s not the correct term, but it sounds fun and important). You’re going to do great, Jade! We’ll do this again when you graduate from college! :)

Nashville TN Photographer | Cedars of Lebanon

Class of 2019

Meet Caleb. Class of 2019! This guy’s ready to graduate from Mt. Juliet Christian Academy. At school, you’ll see him in the drama department. His session was fun and laid back at Cedars of Lebanon State Park. He’s a cool kid. I can’t wait to see him on TV in the future because it will be that or the movies. :)

Scroll down to see pics from his session with the family.

Nashville, TN photographer | Long Hunter State Park

The Bundy Family

This family. Look how they love each other. Even the guys who didn’t want to be there were good sports! I’m not mentioning any names. :). Seriously, they will cherish these pictures with the extended family. Look at those smiles; you can’t even tell it was cold. And flooded! This was right after all the rain we had in Nashville and Long Hunter State Park was covered with water. We found a good spot and stayed there! It looks beautiful. So glad we did this, Bundy family!

Nashville TN Photographer | Fiddler's Grove

Reagan

I loved this session! The only way to describe Reagan is spunky. Don’t you love that word? She always has a smile on her face, and she is just a ball of energy. …And she’s cute, too. Softball is her thing, and I was too happy when she came with her bat and ball. It’s not the only sport she can play, but apparently it’s the most important to her. She’s pretty and tough all at once (inside and out. That’s so important!). She’s kind, and her energy is contagious. She can be anything she wants. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this one.

Casey / Class of 2019

Meet Casey. Senior at Lebanon High School. He is so talented. I saw him in a Christmas performance and I couldn’t believe it! I can’t wait to see where his acting and singing take him. We had good time walking around downtown looking for good spots on this day. Of course, I had to get one with the phone. Casey is my daughter’s age, and I have known him since he was little, so it’s bittersweet thinking about him and this class of seniors going to college. They’ve got a special place with me, and I know he will be successful in all he does. Everyone can see it. Good luck, Casey!

Josh + Kayleigh

Save the date, August 31, 2019! These two. Just meant for each other. I have known Kayleigh for a long time, and I’m so happy that she and Josh have chosen each other. Here’s what I love: they are so totally comfortable with each other, it’s so obvious they are in love. They did their own thing in front of the camera like I wasn’t even there. AND they’re fun.

Downtown Nashville is where they got engaged, so we went to Bakersfield and reenacted. Everyone was so nice and wondered what we were doing. When the employees realized they had gotten engaged there, they produced a big gift card for Josh and Kayleigh. Y’all have to check this place out here! It was great, and I hear the food is pretty good, too. ;)

We walked around ALL over the place and took many, many pictures as I got to know Josh and Kayleigh a little more. They have a great story about how they met and first started dating. Let’s just say, of course, Josh got the girl. Thank you, guys, for choosing me to photograph your day. I know they can’t wait to start their new life together, but it seems they already have.

Lebanon, TN Photographer | Wilson County Fair

Sisters at the Fair

Now, I know that it’s cold outside and it’s January, and we're hoping for snow and all (well, some of us), but I couldn’t resist posting these summer fair pictures when I came across them again. The colors and these girls just make me happy! These two are sweet AND cute; so glad they did this with me. I love each season as it comes, and even though I’m eagerly watching the forecast for snow this week, I’m also waiting patiently for the warmer weather and definitely the longer days.

Macey and Andrew 10/27/18

This was one of the sweetest weddings around. There was so much love, family, friends, and not a dry eye; many, many happy tears. These two got hitched at Circle S Farms in Lebanon, so beautiful and peaceful. From getting ready to the sparkler exit, it was a perfect day! Be sure to scroll to see the father-daughter first look, and don’t forget the kiss!

Christmas Time

Now that everyone has sent Christmas cards and spent time with family and friends, it’s safe to post these tree farm Christmas minis. We went out to Circle S Farms here in Lebanon and had a blast in the pine trees. I love meeting with these families and then getting Christmas cards with my pictures! So fun and rewarding. Until next year!

Circle S Farms is an awesome place for for taking family pictures and weddings. It’s beautiful! In the picking season, they also have strawberry patch that residents of Wilson County love.

Check them out here.
