Robinson Family Session

Meet the Robinsons. Haha. Not THOSE Robinsons. I’ve literally been waiting to say that. I have taken this family’s pictures a few times over the years, and I was so glad to do it again. The kids are a little older, and some husbands and kids have been added this time around. The more the merrier, and they did a great job. The weather did not cooperate well on this day, but I do like some clouds. Rain, not so much, but everybody put on a smile and had a great session. We laughed at the kids and fed the goats across the fence. This family loves each other so much, it’s obvious.

Treva + Eric

This wedding. Treva and Eric. It was so sweet. Y’all, he sang to her during the ceremony! Look up this song: “A Song For You” by Donny Hathaway (link below. I don’t think there was a dry eye. I got to know these two during their engagement, and I could tell their love will last forever. They dated a while, and and I believe Eric finally convinced her to marry him, thankfully! :) :) They have gone through so many life trials and have stuck together through better and worse already. It’s going to be smooth sailing with each other by their sides. I’m so glad they picked me to document their day at The Mill. I wish them so much happiness!

     These minis are discounted in every way.  I'm reserving 6 appointments on Oct. 26th in the afternoon.  I love getting that golden late-day sunshine.  Location is to be announced, so be looking for that information a little later.

            These exclusive sessions are $250.  Your session fee is waived, and 15 digital files are included in that.  With these files you get unlimited printing rights up to 8x10 size.  I'll spend about 20 minutes with you capturing anywhere from 20-40 images for you to choose from.

The Bundy Family

This family. Look how they love each other. Even the guys who didn’t want to be there were good sports! I’m not mentioning any names. :). Seriously, they will cherish these pictures with the extended family. Look at those smiles; you can’t even tell it was cold. And flooded! This was right after all the rain we had in Nashville and Long Hunter State Park was covered with water. We found a good spot and stayed there! It looks beautiful. So glad we did this, Bundy family!

First of all, obviously this is a summer throwback. I just can’t resist catching up with my blogging with these two cuties. Photographing sisters at their best is awesome. I hope they get along this well at home, and always stay close. It was almost dark this night at the Wilson County Fair, which made all the colors so pretty. You girls are too cute, with equally beautiful personalities!

Sisters at the Fair

Now, I know that it’s cold outside and it’s January, and we're hoping for snow and all (well, some of us), but I couldn’t resist posting these summer fair pictures when I came across them again. The colors and these girls just make me happy! These two are sweet AND cute; so glad they did this with me. I love each season as it comes, and even though I’m eagerly watching the forecast for snow this week, I’m also waiting patiently for the warmer weather and definitely the longer days.

Christmas Time

Now that everyone has sent Christmas cards and spent time with family and friends, it’s safe to post these tree farm Christmas minis. We went out to Circle S Farms here in Lebanon and had a blast in the pine trees. I love meeting with these families and then getting Christmas cards with my pictures! So fun and rewarding. Circle S Farms is an awesome place for for taking family pictures and weddings. It’s beautiful! In the picking season, they also have strawberry patch that residents of Wilson County love.

I love Christmas, who doesn’t? This family made it double fun. I was so glad to be able to squeeze them into this busy holiday season. All these cousins were great; reminds me of when I was growing up. …and such a pretty background for pictures. I am thankful for them allowing me in on some of their crazy fun and love.

Spring Mini Sessions

      For my spring mini sessions this year, just a few of us went to Cedars of Lebanon State Park and had a little fun with the bunny, Buttercup.  These guys are all related, so it was a family reunion, too!  Haha.  Love these kids.  I have been photographing all of them for a long time, and now I even have MK in class!  Such a sweetheart...And can't get over the sassy glasses.  Scroll down to see these three in action.  Look, and Houston did smile!

An Extended Family Session

Meet the Majors.  I have known these guys for a long time.  Bonnie comes from a whole family of teachers, just like me!  They are the most down to earth, sweetest people you'll ever meet.  The boys are into their farm, sports, outdoor activities, driving the gator (!), you name it.  The rest of the extended family joined us toward the end of our session.  It was a feat to get all the cousins to smile, but we did it with the help of everyone.  I saw some silly stuff!  Haha, it was a great day for pictures.  I had so much fun!

Kayla's 13!

      So I have been taking Kayla's yearly pictures for a couple of years now, and I'm so glad she found me to do it!  I love those tween years before real life sets in.  Kayla is one of the most confident, happy girls I've met yet...and so cute, too!  She's into dance and her friends.  The funny thing is we have the same size feet!  Haha, I won't tell you what that is, but it makes me smile 'cuz we're both kinda on the short side.  Love it, Kayla!  We went down to the Lebanon square to do her photo session.  We always have the best time, and she is gorgeous.  Scroll down to see some of her smiling and laughing. Those are the ones I like best, although she's pretty great in all of them.

Cedars of Lebanon | Flory

   Oh, my stars!  These two are so cute.  Santa will have a hard time not giving them everything on their lists.  And the twirly, swirly dress Mary has on is so fun!  We had the best time taking pictures at Cedars of Lebanon with the trees and leaves.  It was the perfect backdrop.  They listened to ALL my directions and were so good.  I've watched them grow up, and I think their family is so blessed!  Scroll down to take a look at the full Christmas mini session with them.

The Miller Family Farm

    I have known the Millers for a while.  It seems like every part of each of our families has teachers in it.  I do love going out to their Lebanon, tn family farm to take pictures.  It makes me want some farmland, but I don't know if I could deal with the all the extra work!  Miss Sassy loved having her pictures taken this time.  She actually found several of the best spots.  Calhoun didn't want any part of it, as you can see if you'll scroll down.  Hilarious!  Both kids did great anyway, and I always have some funny ones to show them.  Until next time! Jamie and Bo are getting married today!

   Today is the day! I just love a country outdoor wedding.  Jamie and Bo are getting married at The Everlasting Pond in Watertown.  I can't wait to see Jamie as a bride, and also get some more pictures of this venue with a wedding party...Woods, rock quarry, quaint little house for the bride and her people.  So, so pretty.  Here are some highlights from their engagement session.  Enjoy, and stay tuned for the wedding photos!  I can't wait.

Lebanon TN | My Nephew Jett

   Meet Jett.  Class of 2022. :)  Is that right?  Aw, I can't believe it.  He's already this old.  Jett's from Kansas, so each summer when he comes to visit I get to take his birthday pictures...and he loves it...well, his mom loves it anyway.  Haha.  He actually is very photogenic and always does a great job.  As you can see he loves baseball.  They drove here from visiting in Kentucky to have his pictures done in downtown Lebanon and on one of our middle school's baseball fields (shout-out to my hubby).  We love acting silly with these pictures, and we brought all my crew along to make him smile, which they did.  This first one cracks me up.  Maybe you can see what a lady's man he'll be in a few years.

Lebanon High School Senior | Allie

      Meet Allie.  Class of 2018.  Here's what I love:  She's not just a pretty face!  I love it when girls play sports.  I love it when I get to go to the place where seniors actually play their sport and take pictures in the 'natural habitat'.  Allie and I went to downtown Lebanon, then to LHS right at sunset to take her track pictures.  She came with some ideas of her own, too (the shoe pile), and it was awesome. thanks, Allie, for the fun session, and I can't wait to see what happens next in your journey!
